The Low-Loss Header, also known as a Hydraulic Balancer, is designed to separate the circulation of the boiler from the heating system, making it ideal for medium to high-power systems (from 40 kW). It supports multiple boilers and various heating circuits, such as floor heating, radiators, and hot utility water. The hydraulic balancer ensures independent operation of pumps, eliminates the need for separate flow balancing, and incorporates desilter and air vent functions to enhance system performance and protect the boiler from low-temperature corrosion.
Operational Modes:
- When the heat requirement equals the boiler’s output: system is balanced.
- If heating demand is less than the boiler’s output: return water from the balancer signals the boiler to reduce power.
- If demand exceeds boiler output: increased pump suction signals the boiler to increase power.
Key features of the Low Loss Header SHE 1 1/4":
- Max flow: 4.0 m³/h
- Max power: 70 kW
- Connectors: 4 x 5/4”
- Nominal pressure: 10 bar
- Max temperature: 110°C
- Capacity: 1.6 liters
Benefits for investors include:
- Up to 30% longer boiler service life due to protection from low return water temperatures
- Increased operational comfort through system desiltering and aeration
- Up to 30% longer pump service life
- Faster boiler response
- Cost savings of up to 50% compared to 3- or 4-way valves
Benefits for installers:
- No need for complex system regulation
- Reduced claims caused by improper system operation or air locking
Variants available:
- SHE (LLH): Power 40-420 kW
- SHE-OC: Insulated version with PUR foam and leatherette, power 40-115 kW (larger units up to 420 kW can be insulated upon request)
