Culm Stores Distribution Elterm Ltd Trade Insulation is manufactured in NBR which is a s a flexible closed cell elastomeric thermal insulation foam, with high water vapor diffusion resistance factor and low thermal conductivity. NBR insulation is designed for both indoor and outdoor use; however, external use requires additional protection from weather and UV radiation with the coated version.

The manufacturing process provides excellent protection against heat loss while simultaneously preventing the absorption of humidity and the condensation of water on the insulated surface. The result is rubber insulation with a unique structure, great flexibility and that prevents energy losses.

Culm Stores Distribution Elterm Ltd Standard Slit and Seal is designed for use on internal pipework or in trunking where the pipework is not exposed to UV radiation. Coated Slit and Seal can be used in external situations and is weather resistant.

The Culm Stores Distribution Elterm Ltd Trade Slit & Seal has a self-adhesive strip to join the two cut edges plus another self-adhesive flap to wrap over to seal the joint.

Slit &Seal is a lot easier to fit to existing pipework than standard insulation due to the fixing method and its flexibility.
